Membership of the Consumer Talent Forum runs month to month with a minimum term of 3 months from January 2027. There is no annual contract.
1. About these terms
1.1These terms and conditions (the "Terms") govern membership of the Consumer Talent Forum and use of the CTF member platform. They form a legally binding agreement between you and The Consumer Talent Forum, whose office is at Bonded Warehouse, 18 Lower Byrom St, Manchester M3 4AP ("CTF", "we", "us", "our").
1.2In these Terms:
- Member means the organisation that signs up for membership, and Member User means each individual given a seat under that membership.
- Platform means the CTF online community, hosted on Circle, and any related websites, apps and services we provide.
- Sessions means live and recorded events, webinars, roundtables and other activities run by CTF.
- Content means any text, recordings, slides, documents, images or other material made available through the Platform or at Sessions.
1.3By completing the sign up process and adding your payment details, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms on behalf of yourself and the organisation you represent, and that you have authority to do so.
2. Membership and seats
2.1CTF is an invite-only peer community for senior HR, Talent and People professionals working in consumer products and FMCG. We may decline or withdraw membership where an applicant does not meet these criteria.
2.2When signing up, the Member chooses the number of seats it requires. Each seat is for one named Member User and must not be shared between individuals.
2.3Seats belong to the Member. If a Member User leaves the organisation or changes role, the Member may reassign that seat to a colleague by giving us written notice. We will transfer access to the new Member User and remove access for the previous one.
2.4The Member may add seats at any time. Additional seats are charged from the next billing date at the rate in place for the Member's membership. Seats may be removed in line with section 4.
2.5Each Member User must keep their login details secure and must not allow anyone else to use their account. The Member is responsible for all activity carried out under its seats.
3. Fees and payment
3.1Membership is charged monthly, per seat, at the following rates (excluding VAT, where applicable):
| Seat | Standard rate (per month) | Founding Member rate (per month, first 12 months) |
|---|---|---|
| First Member User | £195.00 | £146.25 |
| Each additional Member User | £95.00 | £71.25 |
3.2Founding Member rate. The Founding Member rate of 25% off is reserved for members of our existing CTF community, who joined prior to January 2027. It applies for the first 12 months of paid membership, after which the standard rate applies. It cannot be combined with any other discount, offer or customer rate.
3.3Billing start. Members who sign up before January 2027 will have their payment details saved securely but will not be charged until membership billing begins in January 2027. Members who sign up after that date are charged from their sign up date.
3.4Payments are taken monthly in advance by card through our payment provider, Stripe. The Member authorises us to charge the card provided on each billing date until the membership ends.
3.5If a payment fails, we will notify the Member and may retry the payment. If payment is not received within 14 days, we may suspend access to the Platform until the balance is paid.
3.6We may change our standard rates by giving at least 30 days' written notice. Any change will not affect the Founding Member rate during its 12 month period.
4. Minimum term and cancellation
4.1Minimum term. From January 2027, every membership has a minimum term of 3 months, starting on the first billing date. The Member agrees to pay for each seat for at least that period.
4.2No annual contract. There is no annual contract. After the minimum term, membership continues on a rolling monthly basis until cancelled.
4.3Cancelling after the minimum term. The Member may cancel at any time after the minimum term by giving us written notice or through the Platform account settings. Access continues until the end of the current paid monthly period, and no further payments are taken.
4.4Cancelling during the minimum term. A Member may give notice to cancel during the minimum term, but the cancellation takes effect at the end of the minimum term and the remaining months' fees remain payable.
4.5Before billing starts. Members who sign up before January 2027 may cancel by written notice at any time before their first payment is taken, with nothing to pay.
4.6Refunds. Fees already paid are non-refundable, and we do not offer refunds for part months or unused seats, except where required by law.
4.7Removing seats follows the same rules: a seat can be removed after its own 3 month minimum term, effective from the end of the current paid month.
5. Platform access and acceptable use
5.1Members get access to the Platform, Sessions and member resources for as long as their membership is active and fees are paid. Access for members who sign up before launch begins on 1 December 2026.
5.2CTF is a professional peer community built on trust. Member Users must:
- treat other members with respect and engage in good faith;
- use their real name and accurate job title and organisation;
- keep discussions relevant to HR, Talent and People topics;
- comply with all applicable laws, including data protection law.
5.3Member Users must not:
- post anything offensive, discriminatory, harassing, defamatory or unlawful;
- use the Platform or Sessions to sell, promote or advertise products or services, or send unsolicited messages to other members;
- approach, solicit or recruit other members' employees using contacts or information gained through CTF;
- share confidential or commercially sensitive information belonging to their own or any other organisation without permission;
- post personal data about individuals without a lawful basis to do so;
- copy, scrape or extract member details or Content from the Platform;
- attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Platform.
5.4We may moderate, edit or remove any post that breaks these rules.
6. Content
6.1CTF Content. All Content created or provided by CTF and its speakers, including Session recordings, slides, reports, templates and resources, is owned by CTF or its licensors. Members receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for their own internal business purposes during their membership.
6.2Recordings and materials are for members only. Member Users must not record Sessions themselves, or download, copy, forward, publish or share recordings and materials with anyone outside their organisation's active Member Users, unless we give written permission. Sharing a login to give others access counts as a breach of this clause.
6.3Member posts. Members keep ownership of anything they post or upload to the Platform ("Member Content"). By posting, the Member gives CTF a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and share that Member Content with other members on the Platform for as long as it remains there. We will not use Member Content outside the Platform, for example in marketing, without the Member's permission.
6.4Members are responsible for their Member Content and confirm they have the right to post it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
6.5Recording of Sessions. We may record Sessions and make recordings available to members on the Platform. Member Users who do not want to appear in a recording can keep their camera off or contact us before the Session.
6.6Content shared by speakers and members reflects their own views. It is provided for general information and does not constitute legal, HR or professional advice.
7. Suspension, liability, privacy and changes
7.1Suspension and termination by us. We may suspend or end a Member User's access, or the whole membership, if the Member or its Member Users seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, fail to pay, or act in a way that harms the community. Where possible we will give notice and a chance to put things right first. Fees for the minimum term remain payable where membership ends because of a breach.
7.2Changes to the service. We aim to run a regular programme of Sessions, but speakers, dates and formats may change. We may update or improve the Platform from time to time. If we stop providing the service altogether, we will give reasonable notice and refund any fees paid in advance for the period after it ends.
7.3Availability. We will use reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. The Platform is hosted by a third party (Circle) and we are not responsible for outages outside our control.
7.4Liability. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, business or data. Our total liability in any 12 month period is limited to the fees paid by the Member in that period.
7.5Privacy. We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law. Member Users' names, job titles and organisations will be visible to other members on the Platform.
7.6Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any material change by email or on the Platform. If the Member does not accept a change, it may cancel in line with section 4 before the change takes effect.
7.7General. The Member may not transfer its membership to another organisation without our consent. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between us about membership.
8. Governing law and contact
8.1These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
8.2Questions about these Terms, membership or cancellations can be raised with the CTF team through the Platform, or in writing to:
